We are helping to jumpstart a return of the Vermont Voyageurs at the Junior Level (Age 16-22 in NABLL) in the Summer of 2025 in hopes that we can prove there is a foundation for a local Vermonter to Pick up in 2026 at either the Senior or Junior Level.
There are two dates of Junior Competition Saturday July 12th in Holyoke, MA and Sunday July 20th in Oneida, NY. The Goal is to Field a wholly Vermont based Junior team to play two games each date. If that is not possible, we will work to accomodate VT Junior players on our Paper City Oaks team. Games will be three 20 Minute Periods Each, with the last 5 minutes of each period being Stop Time.
The Opponents on the respective dates would be:
7/12 in Holyoke, MA- Inver Grove Isotopes (MN) & Maine Northmen (ME)
7/20 in Oneida, NY- Paper City Oaks (MA) & Utica Yeti (NY)
Players are welcome to come train with our High School Team Mondays 6-8pm 7/7 and 7/14 at the Essex Skating Facility.

Matt Smith- Head Coach
Matt is currently the Head Coach at Division III Elms College. He was the defensive coordinator of the Paper City Oaks Senior team that won New England and advanced to the NABLL Nationals in 2023. He is a Multi Time WMass High School Head and Assistant Coach of the year in roles at Chicopee and Chicopee Comprehensive. He has coached collegiately at UConn before taking the helm at Elms.
Zach Mann- Offensive Coordinator
Zach is currently an assistant coach at Wilbraham & Monson Academy Prep School. He is a four year veteran of the NABLL and has been playing Box for over a decade. He won two NCAA Division II Championships with Merrimack College, before going on to Captain Division III UMass Boston twice.
