New England Oaks Lacrosse will hold Evaluations for Winter Travel Box Lacrosse on Monday December 11th at Allsport Arena in Northampton, MA from 7-8pm. Evaluations will be for grades 11/12 (High School Elite) and 9/10 (Midget) age levels.
Travel team practices will be Mondays 7-8pm at Allsport Arena beginning 12/18 and running through 2/5. (7 Sessions total)
The team will compete in the following three tournaments:
-Pioneer Valley Invitational Sunday 1/14 Allsport Arena Northampton, MA
-Galactic Games Saturday 1/23, Seacoast United Arena, Hampton, NH
-Cabin Fever Classic Sunday 2/11 Allsport Arena Northampton, MA
and a play day with 3d Lacrosse on Saturday January 6th in Glastonbury, CT.
While a great cross training for Field Lacrosse, we believe and train in the value of Box in it’s own right.
Coach Joe O’Neill
Coach O’Neill has been coaching box lacrosse for 11 years and brings a wealth of experience from his expertise in Field Lacrosse and Physiology. He has coached in numerous Box leagues, most recently leading the Paper City Oaks of the NABLL to the 2023 New England Region Championship as Head Coach. He is a long time proponent of the game and an ongoing student and fan of it. In Field Lacrosse, he is a two time PVIAC Coach of the Year and lead Wahconah Regional to the 2022 Division IV State Championship.
Coach Charlie Edwards
Coach Edwards has been coaching box lacrosse for 9 years and founded the Oaks Lacrosse Program. He has seen 8 former players named to the American World Junior Indoor Roster and 2 to the Israeli World Junior Indoor Roster. He Coaches Field Lacrosse at Amherst- Pelham Regional High School.
