SUMMARY:Yuletide Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Yuletide Classic is an annual celebration of the Lacrosse and Community that has been played during the Holiday Season for over 24 years.  This year the event will be taking place at Roots Athletics in Westfield\, MA. \nThis is a Mens Tournament and we will field as always one Open team and one team of graduating High School Seniors.  Three 25 minute games are guaranteed with playoffs for the top 4 seeded teams.   We cap the teams at: 2 Goalies\, 4 poles\, 6 Mid\, 3 Attack. \nRules\n-7v7 Format (2 must stay on O side\, 3 must stay on D side) \n-There are no timeouts \n-All Games will start and end on a central horn \n-Game starts with a Face-Off.  The remainder of the game is played continuously out of the net.  Officials may call for a face-off at their discretion. \n-Whistle to signal a goal. A second whistle signals play may be resumed by the goalie. If goalie jumps second whistle\, ball is returned to crease. \n–NO Takeout checks will be allowed. Play to the ball\, not through the man. All other contact\, body and stick\, will conform to federation rules of play. \n-Technical Fouls will only result in the offended team being awarded the ball. NO man down will result. \n-Personal Fouls will result in the offended team being give possession at the midfield line.
